Question Generation
For Your Whole Department

Schools use Testomatik to generate standards-aligned exam questions from their own teaching material. One organisation account covers the department, spending is capped at a level you set, and every question ships with an answer key, an explanation and a cognitive-level tag.

No card required to trial · Invoicing available for institutions

What changes at department level

Individual teachers already save time. The difference at institutional scale is consistency and accountability.

Consistency across a department

When ten teachers write their own papers, rigour varies. Framework alignment and Bloom targeting are applied the same way for everyone, so a Year 9 paper looks like a Year 9 paper regardless of who generated it.

Defensible assessment

Every item carries its answer key, explanation and cognitive-level tag. When a parent or inspector asks why a question was set, there is a documented rationale rather than a recollection.

Spending you can cap

Per-question pricing with an organisation-level budget ceiling. No per-seat licence for staff who only write papers twice a term, and no bill surprises.

Every question type your papers need

Multiple choice, open ended, true/false, matching, fill-in-the-blank and visual items with generated charts, geometry and diagrams.

Built for teams, not just individuals

An organisation account groups your staff, their usage and your spending under one roof.

  • Multiple teachers under one organisation account
  • Invite colleagues by email, with roles
  • Organisation-level budget cap so spend cannot run away
  • Per-organisation document and question limits
  • Billing details and tax ID on file for invoicing
  • Usage visible per member, not just per account

The questions procurement asks

Data handling

Uploaded material is stored encrypted on EU-based servers with GDPR-compliant processing, plus content moderation and safety filters on generated output.

Staff onboarding

Invite teachers by email into one organisation account. There is no installation, and the workflow is upload, choose, review, export.

Curriculum fit

Questions come from the documents you upload — your schemes of work, your textbooks, your terminology — rather than from a generic shared bank.

International frameworks

Alignment to the PISA 2025 assessment framework and TIMSS 2023 domains, useful where a school reports against international benchmarks.

Frequently asked questions

How does pricing work for a school?

Pricing is per question rather than per teacher seat, so you pay for what your staff actually generate. An organisation account carries a budget ceiling you set, and billing details including a tax ID can be held on file for invoicing.

Can several teachers share one account?

Yes. An organisation groups multiple teachers, each invited by email with a role. Usage is visible per member, so a head of department can see where the budget is going rather than seeing only a single total.

Where is our uploaded material stored?

On EU-based servers, encrypted at rest, with GDPR-compliant processing. Generated output also passes through content moderation and safety filters before it reaches a teacher.

Do we have to commit to a subscription?

No. There is no monthly subscription requirement. You can trial it with 5 free questions without a card, then move to per-question billing, and institutions that prefer invoicing can arrange that directly.

Will the questions match our curriculum rather than a generic syllabus?

Questions are generated from the documents you upload, so they use your content and your terminology. Framework alignment and Bloom's Taxonomy levels are applied on top of your material rather than replacing it.

Can we see the quality before committing?

Yes — generate 5 questions free from one of your own chapters, with no card required. That is the fastest way to judge whether the output would survive being handed to a colleague as a test.
